Finalists Announced For $100K MSU’s Venture Competition

Montana State University has announced the finalists for the 2026 $100K Venture Competition, which is hosted annually by the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship and the MSU Launchpad.

The competition provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business ventures, receive feedback and compete for startup funding.

The selected finalists will compete on Tuesday, April 21, at 5 p.m. in Inspiration Hall in MSU’s Norm Asbjornson Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

The finalists for the three competition tracks and submitted descriptions of their projects are as follows: Deep Tech/University Based Research Barley Bloom, creating high-value, flavorful, functional food ingredients from barley for a growing global market.

Beeotics, whose product is designed to boost the honeybee immune system and provide protection against disease.

Ocka, which identifies each student’s strengths and weaknesses to deliver targeted, evidence-based instruction on what they need to learn next.

Traditional Venture

Coincident Systems, which builds coordination and decision-making infrastructure that helps rural health care facilities work together across large distances.

Empress of Ghee, which aims to make premium, grass-fed ghee a staple in every cupboard. indelible.Blob, building the protocol for reality, this solution creates proof for every image the moment it’s captured, helping people di rentiate between real and fake images.

Social Impact
