Virginia Clancy

Virginia Mae Clancy, 83, died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.

She was born to Timothy Clancy Sr. and Lucille Chasing Hawk Clancy on Jan. 22, 1943. She was born and raised at Chicken Hill with her brothers and sisters.

She married once and later divorced. She then met George Lucero in 1996. They made their home in Sacramento, Calif., until his death in 2015. She returned home, rededicated her life to God and was a faithful member of Blue Sky Ministries.

She loved to sing at church and many functions. She loved visiting her family and friends, cruising, road trips, going for ice cream and watching her favorite shows. She used to be the queen of the dance floor back in the day and well known as the frybread queen. She had many friends and was always smiling and making people laugh.

Her happy-go-lucky attitude was contagious and her sense of humor made many laugh.
