Students Earn Honors At Music Festival
Wolf Point students attended the District 12 Music Festival in Poplar during the weekend.
Individuals qualifying for state included Jayla Big Talk on clarinet, Cole Boysun on bari sax and tenor sax and Maya Deserly on bass guitar.
Emmanuel Julio, Sheena Standing Rock and Boysun qualified with vocal solos.
Wolf Point’s clarinet quartet earned a I rating and advanced to state. The swing choir qualified for state. The combo choir received a I for sight reading and a II for performance.
Wolf Point’s band receives IIs for sight reading and performance.
Wolf Point will have its spring concert starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 27, in the school’s auditorium.
