Hentges Enjoys Riding Bikes In Wolf Point Area

Wolf Point High School senior Kevan Hentges has a variety of interests including riding motorcycles, street bikes and dirt bikes.

“I just like riding with my boys and my dad,” Hentges said.

On some occasions, Kevan heads to Culbertson to ride at a dirt bike track there. He adds that he is planning a motorcycle trip with his father, Ken, to Sturgis, S.D., sometime this summer.

At school, Kevan enjoyed being a manager for Wolf Point’s football squad.

“It was pretty fun hanging out with my boys,” he said.

He sometimes keeps busy helping his dad with vehicle mechanics work such as oil changes, tune ups and putting new parts in.

His favorite class is wood shop, and his favorite teacher is R.C. Page.

“He’s a good teacher and explains things well,” Hentges said.

After high school, he hopes to save enough money for a move to Billings because he feels there’s more job opportunities there.

He has attended school in Wolf Point since kindergarten. He says there’s good and bad about the community.

“There’s a lot of places ride around here,” he said.
