School Board Approves Contracts For Next Year
The Wolf Point School Board approved the renewal of contracts for administrators and teachers during a meeting on Monday, March 9.
Renewal of district administrators for the 2026-2027 school year were high school principal Kim Hanks, junior high principal Tara Thomas, Northside principal Georgie Gourneau, Southside principal Brandi Burshia and curriculum/testing/ data coordinator Daniel Horsmon.
Tenured teachers having contracts renewed were Dezi Adams, Agboola Aliu, Rainey Azure, Andrea Baker, Kim Beckers, Amanda Campbell, Melissa Cromwell, Bridget Drummond, Angela Figueroa, Emily Hamilton, Dianne Hoversland, Leslie Larson, Grant Legare, Erin Loendorf, Karli McGowan, Shelby Martell, Carlita Mendoza, Joelle Page, Robert Page, Carl Pasoy, Patricia Payne, Vivian Schultz, Steven Schwartz, Sonya Smoker, Jane Sorley, Rona Stevens, Laura Stichman, Dorian Talks Different, Diane Taylor, Patricia Toavs, Abigail Traeholt, Sen Pin Andrew Vun, Ashlee Wilkening and Charissa Zaballero.
Offers of tenure were approved for Alexa De La Cerna and Jessica Peterson.
Non-tenured teaching contracts were approved for Mary Ann Barba, Kathleen Damboise, Sheryl Dulohan, Maricar Endozo, Anthonette Francisco, Dahlia Hamilton, Jakilyn Harada, Gina Holman, Mark Holman, Mary Ann Jaraula, Marissa Lagman, Cody Larson, Marilyn Madrigal, Iris Mejos, Prescilla Mendez, Kayla Messerly, Mateo Molina, Alvin Padilla, Mia Sonia A. Siason, Waldymar Sinco and Angela Swenson.
Extra-curricular hirals made during the meeting included Alonna Sansaver-Martinez as high school assistant coach, Dave Allen as high school/junior high volunteer track coach, Bethany Legare as high school/junior high volunteer track coach, Stacey Summer for junior high track, Andrew Vun for Lil Wolves volleyball, Brianna Red Cloud for Lil Wolves volleyball, Jed Loucks for Lil Wolves football, Anthony Red Cloud for Lil Wolves football and bus drivers Jacob Boysun, Rex Greene, Eric Peterson, Shane Reed and Jon Erickson.
Resignations and retirements were Angela Bates as Southside librarian, Shawn Erickson as Northside special education teacher, Honey Angeles as junior high science teacher, Scott Montgomery as junior high English teacher and Marques White Horse as high school head track coach.
