Locals Shine In Cinderella

Actor/directors Rosie Allenson and Cody Landmichi and the Missoula Children’s Theatre led a cast of local kids in two performances of Cinderella, adapted by Jim Caron, March 13 at the old armory building on Broadway Avenue in Culbertson. Vicki Grimsrud provided ace accompaniment. Baylour Hagadone, Gauge Smith, Kynzie Smith and Abby Sager were assistant directors.

Emma Henry starred in the title role as Cinderella, with Brailey Bigler as the Stepmother, Paisley Struna as Lovely, Jaclynne Taberna as Beauty, David Byrd as the King, Oliver Becker as the Prince, Harper Struna as Annie, Florence Petersen as Cleo, Jameson Riggin as Fido and Aubrey Lee and Leddy Anderson were excellent as the Town Criers.

Locals who acted as lords and ladies included Joel Berwick, Logan Buck Elk, Lok Kierstead, Ark Kierstead, Rhett Berwick, Logan Primeau, Paisley Froehlich, Christy Clausen, Gabby Lee, Melodee Harling, Josie Rhodes, MaKaeya Daniels and Franiah Bighorn.

Buskers included Lennox Crowe, Isaac Semm, Amelia Riggin, Shante Bets His Medicine, Shyla Douglas, Alannah Wasley, Luella Petersen, Hadley Miller and Shianne Byrd.

Adorable pumpkins included Kehlani Tonasket, Auvriel Evenson, Cedar Vaira, Macy Bedont, Charlie Wilson. Nora Gabriel, Rivyr French, Aurora Barnhart, Kaycee Rhodes, Everleigh Primeau, Hadley Froehlich, Ivy Newbill, Henry Standley, Ariana Belton, Chloe Clausen and Lane Rhodes.

Ashlee Anderson was MCT’s local contact and main go-to this year. There were many additional volunteers, including Mayor Todd Gabriel, who provided assistance with sound equipment.
