Town Pump Offers Fireworks Grants
Fourth of July fireworks are an American tradition, and this year’s Fourth celebration promises to be even more spectacular with the United States commemorating its 250th anniversary of independence.
The Town Pump Charitable Foundation is offering to help communities across Montana that want to celebrate this year with a fireworks show by providing “Light Up the Big Sky” grants to help offset the cost of the fireworks.
“This year is a big birthday for our country,” said Bill McGladdery, director of corporate communications for Town Pump. “It deserves a big celebration. This grant program offers funding to communities providing fireworks shows over the July Fourth weekend to celebrate the 250th year since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.”
Grants range between $1,500 and $5,000, depending on the size of the show and anticipated attendance, and applications will be accepted through March 20 to allow communities time to purchase their fireworks. Grant applications are available at www.townpumpfoundation. com.
