Kauten Enjoys Working On Vehicles
Culbertson High School senior Levi Kauten moved to Culbertson from Miles City three years ago and is enjoying his time in northeastern Montana.
His favorite hobby is working on cars. He fixed up a 1989 F-150 and brought a 1986 Charger. He said it took him three months to repair the vehicle. “The truck was sitting there for 13 years,” Kauten said.
He said he learned auto mechanics from his grandfather, Clint Halverson.
After the school day, Kauten is kept busy taking care of one brother and one sister. In total, he has five brothers and two sisters.
His favorite class is agriculture. His favorite teacher is Dave Solem. “He’s a great teacher,” Kauten said.
After high school, Kauten plans to attend Miles Community College and study either mechanics or diesel mechanics.
