Koda The Warrior Motivates During Time In Wolf Point
Mark Mindt, known as Koda The Warrior, provided inspirational words during a family event at Wolf Point High School on Thursday, Feb. 5, and visits with art students at the school the following day. The cartoonist urged students to choose to do the hard thing. They should aim to work smarter and harder.
“If you start doing the hard things today, life will be more manageable,” he said.
He pointed out that students in the classroom already were on the right path by coming to school on that Friday when they can usually sleep in on that day of the week. He also showed that he was willing to do the hard thing by driving six hours to Wolf Point.
He noted that teachers are the students’ “biggest fans” and they love to see students enjoy success.
On the drawing that Koda The Warrior requested students to complete, he wanted them to write a story about themselves. He asked them to draw pictures of the future that they seek.
“Dream big,” he urged. “Be careful. Don’t tell anybody, just do it.”
Koda The Warrior shared that his “super power” is drawing his future and then seeing it happen.
“When it comes true, life is so much better for my family,” he said. “
He instructed the students to draw progress but not perfection.
