It happened a little later than originally scheduled, but Wolf Point Schools held its winter concert in the auditorium on Monday, Jan. 19.

Senior Cole Boysun, who served as emcee as well as a performer during the night, said the theme of the concert was “Lights.”

Boysun explained that because the concert was supposed to happen in December, the program included holiday-themed numbers.

The performance opened with the high school concert choir singing One Candle and then Huron Carol.

Wolf Point’s swing choir then entertained with On A Starlit Night and The Winter Wind.

The men’s duet consisting of Boysun and William Schwarzrock sang Caroo, Caroo.

The school’s musical director is Michael Keefner.

Bridgette Drummond conducted the sixth-grade band.

Selections provided by Essential Elements included London Bridge, Mozart Melody, Frére Jacques and Ode to Joy.

The high school band’s selections were Russian Christmas Music, The Empire Strikes Back Medley and Jupiter from the Planets.

Northern Lightning ended the concert with Last Christmas and Blinding Lights.
