Fatality Crash Occurs Near Fort Peck

A 43-year-old male from Greenville, S.C., died in a two-vehicle fatality crash near Fort Peck on Thursday, Jan. 22.

The crash occurred at 5:40 p.m. on Montana Highway 24, mile marker 59.6.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Chevy Traverse being driven by a 40-year-old male from Fort Peck was pulling out of Galpin Road to turn left on Montana Highway 24. The Traverse collided with a Ford F350, driven by a 52-year-old male from Bigfork. The Ford was headed northbound toward Glasgow. The fatality victim was a passenger in the Ford.

The road was bare and dry.
