Fatality Crash Reported Near Lincoln
A group of Wolf Point residents were involved in a fatality crash near Lincoln on Sunday, Jan. 4.
Fatality victims were a 68-year-old male driver from Great Falls and a 60-year-old female passenger from Great Falls. Injured in the same vehicle, a Kia Telluride, were a 43-year-old female from Belt and a 65-year-old female from Great Falls.
The driver of a Ram 1500 was a 30-year-old male from Wolf Point. The three passengers, all from Wolf Point, were a 31-year-old male, a 24-yearold male and a 22-year-old female. No injuries were reported of the group.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the Ram 1500 was traveling eastbound on Montana Highway 200. The vehicle attempted to negotiate a right turn near mile marker 84 and slid into oncoming traffic. The Ram 1500 impacted the Kia Telluride on its driver’s side and both vehicles went off the side of the roadway.
The crash occurred at 9:43 a.m. Speed is suspected to be a factor. Road conditions were icy. Charges are pending as the investigation is continuing.
