Gas Prices Drop By 3.3 Cents During Week
Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.95/g on Monday, Dec. 1, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 4.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 5.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 5.5 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.722 per gallon.
The cheapest station in Montana was priced at $2.68/g on Sunday, Nov. 30, while the most expensive was $3.34/g, a difference of 66.0 cents per gallon. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 8.5 cents per gallon in the last week.
The national average is down 6.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 5.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
