Poplar Students Place In Plentywood

Poplar’s speech and drama program had several individuals win honors during the meet in Plentywood on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Leah Smoker earned first place in humorous oral interpretation.

Placing second were Kailey Kohl in dramatic solo and Jay Culbertson in dramatic oral interpretation.

Laila Lovan took fourth place in mime.

Lilliana O’Neal was eighth in spontaneous oral interpretation.

The team placed second in sweeps.

The squad will compete in Frazer on Saturday, Nov. 22, and in Wolf Point on Saturday, Dec. 6.
