Area Gives Support For Tough Enough To Wear Pink

Thanks to the support of local individuals and businesses, the Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign held during the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede weekend posted near record numbers.
This year’s local total raised was $5,990. With a $2,500 gift from Tough Enough To Wear Pink of Montana, the total is $8,490.
In 2024, the total was $7,249. The $8,490 is the second highest in the history of Wolf Point’s TETWP fundraising. The record amount raised for a year was $10,537 in 2023, which was the Stampede’s 100th year.
The amount for 2025 includes $2,610 from the Stampede golf tournament sponsored by Squires Insurance, $1,182 in cash donations from the TETWP table, $148 in tips at concessions, $500 from pink sixpack coolers, $600 from the Wild Horse Stampede Lucky Cowboy Program, $500 from Blue Rock Companies/Mike’s Pink Hard Lemonade and $450 from pink cotton candy sales, which was an addition this year.

Other top years for the program in Wolf Point have included $8,608 in 2016, $7,640 in 2018, $7,249 in 2024, $6,590 in 2022, $6,502.25 in 2019, $6,284 in 2017 and $6,290 in 2021.

Since starting in 2009, the Wild Horse Stampede Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign has raised $92,117.47. Funds are presented to the Northeast Montana Health Service’s mammography department.
