Lodging in Missouri River Country was slightly down to begin 2025, according to figures from the Montana Department of Commerce. Gross lodging revenue for the first quarter was $96,217, which was slightly below the 2024 first quarter figure of $100,285 and $165,916 for the fourth quarter of 2024.
The decrease is the first one for Missouri River Country in 16 quarters when comparing the quarters from one year to the next. Glasgow experienced a 10 percent decrease from $27,932 in the first quarter of 2024 to $25,141 for the first quarter of 2025.
As far as the entire state of Montana, there was an increase from $11,820,767 from the first quarter of 2024 to $12,392,374 for the first quarter of 2025.
