Labor Day Wagon Train Set For Aug. 30-31
The Culbertson Saddle Club’s annual wagon train is set for Aug. 3031. It is the 57th anniversary of the local event.
Saddle club organizers released an announcement encouraging participation in the drive: “It’s that time of year to think about dusting off those wagons, packing the family up and loading up the trailer and heading out to the CSC Labor Day Wagon Train. Help us spread the word. We’ve got a tasty menu ready and a gorgeous trail along the Missouri River. Join us!”
Anyone interested in the event but unable to ride along should join CSC members for supper Saturday evening.
Directions from Culbertson: Head south on Highway 16 for 4.5 miles, turn west on County Road 152 for 8 miles. Night stop will be along the road on the south side.
Teamsters and kids under 6 ride free, with varying prices ranging from $45-$75 per rider. The cost includes hay for horses and five meals.
