Every month, Action for Eastern Montana Area 1 on Aging in Glendive publishes a monthly newsletter for Area 1 counties.

Counties included in Area 1 are Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, McCone, Phillips, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Roosevelt, Rosebud, Sheridan, Treasure, Valley and Wibaux counties.

These newsletters include information for seniors about: Medicare, Medicare scams/fraud and abuse, helping and assistance programs, senior health, puzzles and local happenings.

If you would like to receive this monthly newsletter, you can find the link on our website at https://www.rooseveltcountymt. gov/aging-services, pick up a printed copy at one of our Roosevelt County Aging meal sites. Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 60 calls during Aug. 5-11. The calls included the following: Aug. 5 Deputies responded to Fort Kipp for a report of a possible assault.
