Patrick Mckay

Patrick Mckay, 52, of Poplar died July 13, 2025.

He was born in California on June 7, 1973, to Phoebe Melbourne and Patrick “Boy Boy” Mckay.

He spent most of his life in Brockton before he moved to Poplar. He attended school in Wahpeton, N.D., and Flandreau, S.D., along with his sister Theresa Mckay.

He loved to listen to heavy metal music. There was never a dull moment with him. He was high spirited and loved a sense of adventure. He always loved his walks and visited with all who crossed in his path. He also loved hanging out with family and friends. You would always see him outside of Frostees sweeping and making sure the parking lot was clean for the community.

He is survived by his daughter, Melody Bear of Brockton; sons, Walter Loves Him of Oklahoma, Nikolas,
