Cyril Iron Ring

Cyril Evan Iron Ring, 86, of Brockton died May 12, 2025.

He was born Jan. 9, 1939, to Eva Iron Ring and step-dad Douglas Youngman Sr.

He graduated from Poplar High School. After school, he left to go into the Marine Corps on Nov. 28, 1958. He served four years and was honorably discharged on Feb. 9, 1965. He later went to college in Great Falls.

He had one son, Russel D. Iron Ring. He was married to Betty Red Boy.

He was an avid Poplar Indians sports fan. He loved playing horseshoes and whist.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 19, at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment was at the Box Elder Cemetery, west of Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
