It’s been a foggy week. Old-timers say to mark your calendar 100 days from fog because there will be precipitation.
We extend our condolences to the Bill Wiens family in the passing of Eunice Wiens. She passed away on Jan. 4. She has served the Lustre community as the cook for Lustre Grade School, being on the Schmeckfest steering committee and her quilts for that event. Less known were her charity quilts to various places. I will treasure the years of meeting at her home for a ladies’ Bible study Tuesday mornings as she hosted when others could not.
