Brockton’s Girls Earn First Win Since 2015

Brockton’s girls’ basketball team won its first game since 2015 when the Warriors downed Nashua, 36-24, on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Brockton led by a 16-10 margin at the half. The Warriors put together a 16-5 run in the third quarter to take control.

Top scorers for Brockton were Tamryn Bauer with 13, Ava Lone Bear with 11 and Jasalyn Lambert with seven points. Courtney Spottedwolf added three and KayJay First That Walks scored two points.

Tia Dees led Nashua with nine points.

Brockton’s boys lost by a 6130 final. The Warriors trailed 23-8 at the half.
