County Reports 49 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported 49 active COVID cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. There have been 3,866 cases in the county.

Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had 10 active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. The county has 467 cumulative cases. Valley County reported 11 active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. The county has 2,084 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there were four active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. There have been 444 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had five active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. There have been 1,133 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were eight active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. There have been 2,942 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had three active cases as of Friday, Dec. 23. There have been 887 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 322,270 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,347 active cases and 1,030 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Dec. 23, a total of 3,617 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,822 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 30 active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 22.

McKenzie County, N.D., had two active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 22.

Divide County, N.D., had one active case as of Dec. 22.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Dec. 23, 1,640,008 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 563,061 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 15,099 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Dec. 23. There are 5,826 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,227 total doses have been administered. There are 3,294 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,925 total doses have been administered. There are 4,143 fully immunized for 38 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,798 total doses have been administered. There are 1,782 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,511 total doses have been administered. There are 1,836 fully immunized for 56 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
