Winter Ag Series Scheduled In Wolf Point

MSU Extension and the Fort Peck Tribes Natural Resources Department will offer a Winter Agriculture Series focusing on livestock related topics. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Sherman Inn in Wolf Point from 12:30-4 p.m.

A meal will be provided as well as three pesticide applicator points available.

The training will start with livestock pest management, Wendy Becker-MSU Extension Roosevelt County. Then we will hear from Sam Wyfells, the MSU beef Extension specialist about nutrient requirement for beef cattle and supplementation the 3rd trimester through breeding. Finally, we will discuss nitrates and harvest option with MSU Extension forage specialist Hayes Goosey.
