County Reports 24 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported 24 active COVID cases as of Tuesday, Dec. 6. There have been 3,770 total cases in the county.

On Monday, Dec. 5, Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point reported that six residents and three staff had tested positive. Faith Home continues to be on outbreak status.

Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had three active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. The county has 452 cumulative cases. Valley County reported three active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. The county has 2,068 cumulative cases.

In McCone County, there were three active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. There have been 435 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had four active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. There have been 1,129 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were five active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. There have been 2,901 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had seven active cases as of Friday, Dec. 2. There have been 879 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 319,023 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,230 active cases and 936 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Dec. 2, a total of 3,600 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,666 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 43 active cases as of Wednesday, Dec. 1.

McKenzie County, N.D., had 10 active cases as of Wednesday, Dec. 1.

Divide County, N.D., had three active cases as of Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Dec. 2, 1,617,993 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 564,884 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 14,913 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Dec. 2. There are 5,829 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,105 total doses have been administered. There are 3,290 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,959 total doses have been administered. There are 703 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,251 total doses have been administered. There are 431 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,801 total doses have been administered. There are 4,146 fully immunized for 38 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,741 total doses have been administered. There are 1,783 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,455 total doses have been administered. There are 1,839 fully immunized for 56 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
