Brockton model Rita Track has been active in recent months in the burgeoning Indigenous fashion world. She appeared at the NSO Indigenous Fashion Show in Federal Way, Wash., Nov. 19., as well an Uplifting Artist Celebration at the Seattle Art Museum Oct. 22 and the recent Native Fashion with a Passion show held at Greet the Dawn auditorium in Poplar. Her first show was the Big Sky Indigenous Women in Fashion Gala in Billings April 15.

Designer Rebekah Jarvey told the Northern Plains Independent that Track has developed into a leader on the catwalk.

“The NSO Indigenous Fashion Show was my 12th show as a designer and my fifth show coordinating,” Jarvey said. “Rita has been a part of seven shows. I’m very proud of her. She is influential and models look up to her. I’m very fortunate to know an incredible young lady like Rita who follows her dreams.”
