COVID Cases Increase Slightly In State

Roosevelt County reported three active COVID cases as of Friday, Nov. 4. There have been 3,714 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

While COVID-19 cases are currently lower in Montana, experts predict there will be a resurgence of the virus and hospitalizations in the fall. This is the time to order the free at-home test kits available from COVID.gov/tests.

These test are:

Area Statistics

Daniels County had four active cases as of Friday, Nov. 4. The county has 445 cumulative cases. Valley County reported seven active cases as of Friday, Nov. 4. The county has 2,048 cumulative cases.

In McCone County, there was one active case as of Friday, Nov. 4. There have been 432 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had one active case as of Friday, Nov. 4. There have been 1,122 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there was one active case as of Friday, Nov. 4. There have been 2,876 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had zero active cases as of Friday, Nov. 4. There have been 862 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 315,421 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,059 active cases and 852 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Nov. 4, a total of 3,577 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,524 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 24 active cases as of Thursday, Nov. 3.

McKenzie County, N.D., had eight active cases as of Thursday, Nov. 3.

Divide County, N.D., had one active case as of Thursday, Nov. 3.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Nov. 4, 1,587,274 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 564,556 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 14,642 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Nov. 4. There are 5,799 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 8,964 total doses have been administered. There are 3,288 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,919 total doses have been administered. There are 703 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,218 total doses have been administered. There are 430 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,547 total doses have been administered. There are 4,149 fully immunized for 38 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,683 total doses have been administered. There are 1,794 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,389 total doses have been administered. There are 1,845 fully immunized for 57 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
