The group organizing activities for the 100th Wolf Point Stampede started to form more plans during a meeting at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center on Monday, Oct. 24.

Chamber director Aaron Kurokawa said that Jared Stewart and Jarred Hanson have committed to perform for street dances.

Wednesday should be a busy day with a ranch rodeo starting off the fun. Jan Bryan and Arlyss Long are organizing a pitchfork fondue meal and a concert for that night.

The theme for the parades is anticipated to be announced in January. Committee members say they are hoping for more entries in the parade than in normal years.

Re-enactors to perform gun fights is another planned event. Funds are needed to purchase ammunition for the re-enactors.

Pastor Arch Woodstock is organizing the Cowboy Church event.

A wagon train is a possibility during Stampede.

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture asks that people consider sending in donations to make the 100th Wolf Point Stampede the greatest one ever. Checks can be dropped off at Opportunity Bank or the Chamber office.

A silent auction is being planned to take place in conjunction with the Dueling Piano event scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12.

The next scheduled meeting is at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center.
