the last 38 years, he was employed at the BIA Irrigation office in Wolf Point. He enjoyed watching his granddaughter play basketball and was her biggest fan. He was a traditional dancer and, in the summertime, he and his family would travel the powwow trail. He also sang with his drum group, the Ash Point Singers. After moving his family to Oswego in 1986, he and his brother-in-law Joseph Bauer tried their hand in the cattle business for a number of years. He and Debbie enjoyed going to the casino together, playing Yahtzee, watching game shows, going on late night cruises and working in their yard. He was obsessed with making sure the weeds never got out of hand and that the grass never grew past an inch. He was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and had a chest full of Vikings memorabilia to prove it. He was devoted to watching every Vikings game and always cheered them on no matter the outcome. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Debra Wright; daughter, Sondra Wright-Keller; and adopted brothers, Dougal, Kurt and Albert Murdock Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Christine of Oswego; one granddaughter; and adopted sisters, Deb Murdock of Frazer and Barb Dumontof Frazer. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.

Huber Lee Wright, 68, of Wolf Point died Oct. 14, 2022.

He was born June 15, 1954, to James Huber Wright and Lena Grace McConnell. He grew up in Frazer and attended Frazer High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Debra Bauer. They both graduated in the spring of 1972 and were married the following year on Oct. 6, 1973.

A year later, daughter Christine Nickole was born in July 1974. In December 1974, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving three years before being honorably discharged in August 1980. Daughter Sondra Lee was born in June 1978.

He worked as a tribal police officer for a brief time and worked for Kenco Refinery for a number of years. For
