Bulldogs Drop Game In Savage
The Bainville Bulldogs lost their six-man football game at Savage by a 57-18 final on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Savage struck for the game’s first 19 points on a 60-yard touchdown run, a 31yard touchdown pass and a five-yard touchdown run.
The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard when Cayden Boyd completed a four-yard pass to Sam Butikofer. A fouryard touchdown dash by the Warriors put the margin at 25-6 to end the first quarter.
After Savage increased its lead to 37-6 early in the second quarter, Bainville scored on a `16-yard pass from Boyd to Trevor Robertus for a 37-12 half-time margin.
The Warriors scored touchdowns on a 20-yard run and four-yard run in the third quarter for a 51-12 margin.
After Savage scored on a 15yard run in the fourth quarter, Bainville accounted for the game’s final touchdown on a two-yard pass from Rowan Wilson to S. Butikofer.
The Bulldogs will travel to Wibaux on Saturday, Oct. 15.
