University of Montana president Seth Bodnar provided a positive message during the Fort Peck Youth Summit program at Wolf Point High School on Thursday, June 16.

Bodnar said that N7 Fund founder Sam McCracken, who was the program’s special guest, is a great role model for youth people to admire.

“It’s about empowerment and how people reach their full potential,” Bodnar said. “It’s special to see a leader like Sam and the effect that he’s had. I really see Sam as a role model.”

He explained that the University of Montana is also all about helping students reach their full potential.

Bodnar said that part of his day included visiting with Fort Peck Community College president Haven Gourneau.

“We continue to talk about partnerships with Fort Peck Community College and Wolf Point High School,” Bodnar said. “It’s all about people reaching their potential.”

He announced plans are being made to have the University of Montana’s men’s and women’s basketball teams host a N7 game. Players will have N7 logos on their uniforms.

“It’s a great opportunity for us,” Bodnar said.
