Immaculate Conception, First Lutheran Churches Invite Children To Monumental VBS

A summer children’s event called Monumental VBS will be hosted at Immaculate Conception Church June 6-10.

At Monumental, youth will explore the sunbaked Southwestern desert as they dig into God’s great love. They will participate in memorable Bible- learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork- building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love and test out sciency-fun gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.

Plus, attendees will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.

Each day concludes with a Canyon Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 4 p.m.

Youth at Monumental VBS will join a missions effort to provide school supplies for children living on reservations.

Monumental is for youth from age three to entering fifth grade and will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day.
