Horsemanship Clinic Offered At Poplar Rodeo Grounds

A horsemanship clinic is being offered by area sponsors at the Poplar Rodeo Grounds May 28-30. Threetime Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association World Champion Monty “Hawkeye” Henson will provide instruction, along with Indian National Finals Rodeo World Champion Marty YoungBear. Basic horsemanship will be taught by instructors Leon Stewart, Jon Eagle Sr., Mattni Becker and Jessica Abatie.

May 28 will host kids ages five to 16, with May 29-30 reserved for ages 12 and up.

This is a free event. No drop-offs. Parents/guardians will need to provide appropriate footwear. Daily sign-in and registration opens at 9 a.m.
