Individuals Charged With Drug Offenses
Three individuals are facing felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs charges and are scheduled to make their initial appearances in district court on Wednesday, Nov. 10.
Waldon Navrone Drew is facing the charge of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs by accountability, a felony.
Maximum penalties are 25 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both.
Cassie Jo Lepper has been charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Maximum penalties are 25 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both for the distribution charge. Lepper faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of $5,000 or both for the possession charge. Court documents say the crimes took place between May 15 and Aug. 7.
According to court records, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Drug Enforcement, gained consent to examine the social media devices linked to Lepper. Facebook messages showed sales and distribution of meth, fentanyl and prescription medication. More than 300 pages of Facebook messages were saved and printed.
Lepper stated to CG that she “got a half ” (referring to pills) and CG messaged he had a med and was willing to share if Lepper travels to Poplar. CG messages “Fettis 90,” which refers to fentanyl pills for $90 a pill, and continues that he 80 in his possession. Lepper messages that she has 0.5 grams of meth and can sell two $20 papers containing meth in order to make enough for $60.
CG sends a photo of a white crystal substance on a table stating that he’s loaded. He writes, “I don’t like dope, I’m a get me some meds.” Lepper said she was getting dope sick and CG asked if Drew paid her. Lepper said no.
The charges against Lepper contain several other deals being made through messsaging. Through the investigation, it was determined that she was distributing through dozens of transactions fentanyl, meth and pills in Roosevelt County.
Through the investigation, it was determined that Drew was involved with the distribution of meth and pills in Roosevelt County from July 31 to Aug. 7. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Wednesday, Oct. 13. Jessica Smith has been charged with criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, a felony, and criminal distribution of dangerous drugs by accountability, a felony.

Court documents that allege Smith and a male identified as R.D. committed the crimes in Roosevelt County. On Aug. 14, BIA special agent and members of the Fort Peck tribal police conducted a controlled purchase in Smith’s vehicle outside the Northern Lights Casino.
