The parking lot project at the Wolf Point High School has been completed.
The final walk through took place on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Wolf Point Superintendent of Schools Loverty Erickson said the project was done on time and on budget.
“They did a great job,” Erickson said.
Century Companies and Interstate Engineering were in charge of the project.
The total project cost was $1,034,143, but a Delivering Local Assistance Grant from the Montana Department of Commerce covered $750,000 of the cost.
The project included removal of the existing asphalt, removal of some of the concrete, putting in a new storm drainage system, redoing the sidewalk and creating a handicapped ramp.
Other improvements included in the project were heated sidewalks to get rid of snow and ice, as well as a picnic area.
