Yellow Jackets Drop Home Games To Glasgow

The Wolf Point Yellow Jackets lost both games of a home double-header against Glasgow on Thursday, July 1.

Glasgow won the first game by a 13-0 final.

The Reds scored two runs in the first and three runs in the fourth en route to the victory. Glasgow added six runs in the fifth inning.

Highlights for Wolf Point included a double by Trevin Boysun. Also having hits were Preston Swenson, Charlie Page and Terry Allmer.

Glasgow took the second game by a 22-1 final. The Reds scored nine runs in the second and 11 runs in the third inning.

Consecutive doubles by Logan Brown and Canyon Casterline accounted for Wolf Point’s run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Andrew Dschaak also had a hit for the Wolf Point The Yellow Jackets will host the Billings Cardinals on Wednesday, July 7, with games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Wolf Point will plays at home against Glendive starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, and against the Billings Blue Jays starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 9.
