Wolf Point Man Dies In Agricultural Accident

Roosevelt County Coroner/ Sheriff Jason Frederick told the Northern Plains Independent that Quinn Whitmus, 20, died as the result of an agricultural accident in Wolf Point May 7.

A call was made for assistance at 8:49 p.m. from Ag Partners fertilizer plant in Wolf Point. Frederick said the Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department, Wolf Point EMS, Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice responded. Frederick said Whitmus was accidentally suffocated by fertilizer and pronounced dead at the scene.
