Post 49 Bulls Pockets 3 Victories

Community News Staff The Post 49 Bulls picked up three victories in baseball action during the week.

The Bulls knocked off Wolf Point, 15-2, in the first game on Wednesday. The Bulls broke loose with nine runs in the top of the third for the victory.

Colt Miller knocked in three runs during the game. Braeden Romo accounted for two runs batted it.

Colter Oie led the way with three hits. Adding two hits each were Walker Ator, Dylan Tabbert and Colt Miller.

Tabbert scored three runs. Scoring twice each were Bode Miller, Ator, Jackson Oie and C. Miller.

Issac Johnson was the winning pitcher. He allowed two hits and fanned five batters.

The Bulls then outscored Wolf Point by a 15-8 margin in the second game. The Bulls jumped out to a 9-1 lead en route to the victory.

B. Miller accounted for four of the Bulls' 13 hits. He led the team with five runs batted in. C. Miller had two runs batted in.

Justice Bengochea scored three runs. Adding two runs each were Riley Beery, J. Oie and Johnson.

B. Miller was the game's winning pitcher. Also pitching were Tabbert, Payton Hauge and Ator.

The Bulls lost to Glasgow by a 14-7 margin on Saturday. Glasgow struck for nine of its runs in the first inning.

B. Miller led the Bulls with two hits. Adding hits were Johnson, C. Oie, Bengochea, Hauge, Tabbert and C. Miller.

Leading the attack with two runs batted in each were Johnson and Tabbert. C. Miller scored two times. Adding runs were B. Miller, Johnson, Bengochea, Hauge and Cooper McNally.

The Bulls downed Wolf Point, 13-0, on Saturday.

Ator allowed just one hit and fanned seven batters in five innings.

Romo finished with three hits and four runs batted in. Hauge accounted for three hits and two runs batted in.

Leaders in runs scored were Romo with four, Johnson with three and J. Oie with two.
