Wolf Point 100 Club Receives WPHS Graduates’ Donation

Members of the Wolf Point 100 Club met at Faith Home Saturday, Nov. 30. Four members of the club were joined by 2019 senior class president Lauren Crawford Bleazard to officially mark a donation of $750 from the outgoing senior class to help pay for upkeep on the nursing home’s in-house aviary.

Bleazard, home for Thanksgiving, is transferring to Montana State University - Bozeman from the Billings campus in January. She said the aviary caught her eye immediately as a fitting recipient for leftover student funds.

The Wolf Point 100 Club turns 40 in April of next year, said member Leni Loendorf. The club was formed in 1980 to assist in buying medical equipment for the health care facilities in Wolf Point. Membership is up to 108 at present, but the group is always looking for new members.

The club’s annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Faith Home.
