Lucille Effie was born to Robert Schneider and Hazel (Billingsley) Reid on April 17, 1933, in Ekalaka, Mont.

She gained four children, Gary (Karen) Solheim, Sharron (Jerry) Fossum, Dona Solheim and Paula (Mick) Morrison. Together, they had two daughters, Carmen (Pat) Espinoza and Julie (forever sonin-law Duane) Nygaard. Lucille spent much of her life as a bookkeeper, a career that reflected her keen attention to detail and steady reliability. Beyond her professional life, her greatest joy was her family.
Creative at heart, Lucille delighted in every kind of craft. She had a gift for making handmade treasures that became cherished keepsakes for family and friends. Her hands were rarely still, always busy stitching, painting or creating something meaningful. In her later years, she enjoyed volunteering at the local museum.
Lucille had a playful yet competitive spirit that came alive around a card table or game board. Whether it was bridge or pinochle with friends, whist with family or board games with her grandchildren, she always kept everyone on their toes. Her presence turned family gatherings into lively events, filled with laughter and friendly rivalry.
Lucille will be remembered for her creativity and love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the traditions she nurtured and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her son, Robert; her daughters, Dona, Paula and Julie; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary; daughters, Sharron and Carmen; and grandson, Payden.
