Kathy Ann Doornek, 67, of Wolf Point passed away on Oct. 1, 2024, at Advanced Health Care, Billings. Kathy was born in Wolf Point on July 26, 1957, to Bud and Alice Doornek. She graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1975. In 1975, she married Arvin McNabb Jr. They had two children, Derek and Michelle McNabb, both of Wolf Point. Kathy had a great sense of humor and loved her furry friends, often calling herself the “cat lady.” Kathy is survived by her children, Derek (Lindsay) and Michelle McNabb; grandchildren, Malia (Raven) Clark and Russell McNabb; great-grandchildren, Ravin Clark Jr. and Maizy Clark; her lifelong partner of 38 years, Brent Wilkins, who sadly passed away on Jan. 19, 2025; brothers, Wayne (Sheila), Alan and Jerry (Kelly); sister, Cheryl; aunt, Joyce Good; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Alice Doornek; brother, Gary Doornek; ex-husband, Arvin McNabb; many uncles and aunts; and cousins, Sandra Tolan and Dale Doornek. A memorial service will be held in Spring 2025 for Kathy. (Paid Obituary)

Florence 'Wospi' Eagleman, 88, died Jan. 27, 2025, in Poplar. Born on June 12, 1936, in Poplar to William Youngman Sr. and Ruth Standing Bear, she dedicated a significant portion of her life to the community, serving as a teacher's aide at Poplar Elementary School for many years. Her passion for education was evident in her work, and it broke her heart when she had to retire. She had a multitude of interests and hobbies that reflected her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting with her son Dennis and fishing with her partner Joe. An avid reader, she was especially fond of Westerns by Louis L'Amour and romance novels. She also had a unique talent for trivia. She frequently watched Jeopardy and could recall answers with remarkable accuracy. Additionally, she took great pleasure in attending pow-wows, going on cruises with friends, playing cards in the morning while listening to the radio and maintaining a close friendship with her neighbor Noreen over the years. She is survived by her three daughters, Nadine Richards, Della Brown and Joanne Browning; brother, Michael Youngman Sr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Lucy Youngman, William Youngman Sr., Josephine Youpee, Douglas Youngman, Christine Lizotte, Larry Youngman, Nettie Myrick and Rita Long Chase; and her son, Dennis Red Boy. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment was at Box Elder Cemetery.
