Two Poplar wrestlers captured titles during the Eagle Invitational held in Sidney during the weekend. Angelina Escarcega won the championship at 100 pounds. The senior pinned Huntley Project’s Gracie Bingen in 1:33 in the title match. Escarcega won two other matches at the meet. Liberty Boadle earned the title at 105 pounds. Boadle pinned Glendive’s Brooklyn Ackerman in 1:07 for the title.

A strong third quarter highlighted action as Lustre’s girls’ basketball team downed Plevna, 53-45, on Friday, Dec. 6.
