What was once a brief ceremony requiring the president to take the oath of office has now turned into a daylong celebration, complete with speeches, parades and balls. Much of the activity, including the inaugural ceremony, takes place on Capitol grounds. After receiving a request, the booster club conducted the hospitality room at last weekend’s AAU wrestling tournament held in Wolf Point. The wrestling club made a donation to the booster club for the effort.

She notes that on each school day, starting at 8 a.m., a community circle takes place that includes smudging, singing and preparations for the day. Ruff encourages community members to come and participate in the activity.
