The summer is coming to a close with the beginning of school on Aug. 20. Opening Welcome Ceremony for LCHS will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. We encourage those interested in the on-going work of the school to attend to welcome back our returning students and new students!
The new teachers are as follows: Music will be taught by Jerson Ayuno, who has just arrived from the Philippines.

Turns Around Sees Increased Attendance
The 18th annual Turns Around Celebration is in the books. The Poplar-based powwow took place Aug. 15-17. Attendance has been growing for the last few years and visitors were treated to uncharacteristically cool weather and a green landscape for the summertime event.
Grand entries and a variety of dance contests and specials were held Friday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 7 p.m.
