The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 101 calls from Dec. 2-9.

Deputies performed a welfare check in Wolf Point. An adult was concerned that a child was staying in a camper that didn’t have any heat. Deputies didn’t find the child, but notified state authorities.

Health Promotion Disease Promotion staff reminds the community that medical care is offered via telemedicine appointments for children 18 and under. If you can’t visit your primary care provider, HPDP provides appointments at area schools. HPDP is open Monday though Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Central Montana Dispatch received a call about a vehicle parked in the middle of a gravel road near U.S. Highway 87 at 8:04 a.m. on Dec. 2. The caller said there was a pile of clothes next to the vehicle and nobody could be seen around.

A man from Maryland was cited for two charges after the semi-truck he was driving rolled over on U.S. Highway 2 near Wolf Point on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the semi was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 598 when it rolled onto the south side of the road and the driver then over-corrected. The semi then split onto the north side of the road.
