Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team lost a tough 40-32 game in Harlem on Friday, Jan. 9. Harlem led by an 11-10 margin at half-time, but the Wolves pulled even, 25-25, in the third quarter. The Wolf Point boys’ basketball team played close against an explosive Harlem team before falling 74-47 on the road on Friday, Jan. 9. The Wildcats took a 20-13 lead in the first quarter, and Wolf Point trailed 43-21 at the half. Harlem outscored the Wolves by a 19-17 margin in the third quarter. The Brockton Warriors kept winning with home victories over Culbertson on Saturday, Jan. 10. In the boys’ contest, the Warriors won by a 73-35 final. Brockton led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter and held a 35-21 half-time advantage. The Warriors outscored the Cowboys by a 23-7 margin in the fourth period.
