MMIP Program Remembers Local Men
The Frazer community remembered two individuals tragically lost during its Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons’ night held on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Families were honored in memory of Stan Moran Jr. and Gifford Standing.
Basketball team representatives presented family members with quilts during a program between the boys’ and girls’ games involving Frazer and Nashua.

Wolf Point Schools Holds History Day Showcase For Students
Wolf Point held its first ever showcase for the National History Day program on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Wolf Point Junior High School Principal Tara Thomas said the day was successful with a good amount of enthusiasm for the new program.
Thomas said 88 students took part in the program, which was for seventh-grade students and high school juniors.

Blount Makes Strong Recovery After Transplant Surgery
In mid-July of 2025, George Blount was busy cleaning graves in Oswego. He wasn’t aware that he was missing a phone call that would change his life.
Once he experienced better cell service, he finally received a call from his wife, Candy, telling him that the hospital in Fargo, N.D., had a kidney ready for his transplant surgery.
With their bags already packed, the Blounts were ready to make
