Roosevelt County has now dropped to the 53rd position as far as the unemployment rates for counties in Montana. The county’s unemployment rate was recorded at 4.4 percent for July. Roosevelt County commissioners approved the hiring of Jenny Fuller as the county’s public health director during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19. The calls included the following: Aug. 18 Deputies responded to the Poplar city limits for a report of a burglary to a residence. Someone broke into the basement of an apartment.
