Positive reports were delivered by Poplar’s administrators during the November school board meeting held on Monday, Nov. 10. Superintendent of Schools Keith Erickson noted that his goals for the school year are based on: Students first; increasing student achievement; developing and sustaining a staff/ student wellness program; and creating and maintaining a positive academic and work environment.

The eight newest members of the Tribal Executive Board will hold a community feed starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Wolf Point Community Hall. The event will run until about 5 p.m. The community meal is being held in appreciation of the voters’ support of the new board members.
