Command Sergeant Major Shane Courchene retired from 25 years of service in the Army this spring. His commendations, citations and awards are too numerous to list with two Bronze Stars awarded for valor alone. His humble demeanor followed him all over the globe.

Steven Paul Nygaard, 61, of Wolf Point died Aug. 7, 2021, at his home on the farm.
He was born on Aug. 11, 1959, in Wolf Point to Burle and Lillian (Black) Nygaard, the fifth of six children. He was raised on the family farm north of Wolf Point and graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1978.
